Erganeo and Cap Digital have created the Hyperion consortium to secure "French Tech Seed" certification for their tech startups.
Erganeo and Cap Digital proudly announce that their consortium "Hyperion" has been certified by Bpifrance in April 2024 as a business provider for facilitating their tech startups' access to the French Tech Seed investment fund. "Hyperion" aims to foster the growth of deep tech startups on a national scale and to energize the entrepreneurial culture in France.
United We Stand
The French Tech Seed investment fund, managed by Bpifrance, is endowed with €400 million from the Future Investment Program. Its purpose is to support French deep tech startups less than three years old. The fund operates through a network of certified business providers and leverages private investment.
The collaboration between SATT Erganeo and the competitiveness cluster Cap Digital through the Hyperion consortium stems from a shared desire to cover a broader range of opportunities. As a result, the Sequoia and Cap Digital-Sustainable Digital City consortia are merging to enhance the impact and scope of their actions through the creation of Hyperion. This is part of a constructive dynamic of collaboration and marks a shared commitment to synergy in supporting the creation of value for high-tech startups in our ecosystem.
Structurally, Hyperion is organized around two co-pilots, Erganeo and Cap Digital, and includes eight permanent expert members: 50 Partners, SoWeFund, Creative Valley, Université Gustave Eiffel, INCUB Sorbonne Paris Nord, Paris & Co, Descartes Développement & Innovation, and Greentech Innovation. Erganeo has been designated as the lead entity.
These entities, leveraging their experiences and expertise, unite to source and select innovative projects to grant them the French Tech Seed label, thereby enabling Bpifrance to co-finance their fundraising through the French Tech Seed fund.
Unveiling Île-de-France Deep Tech
The consortium positions itself as an innovation ecosystem in the Île-de-France region, with a national scope, focused on companies with breakthrough technological innovation projects. Adopting a multi-thematic approach, the Hyperion consortium will particularly emphasize cleantech and greentech startups.
The members of Hyperion are delighted with this recognition by Bpifrance and commit to supporting young innovative companies to give them the best chances of success. They will pool their efforts in the technological and financial expertise and evaluation of French deep tech startups to contribute to their development, in line with the socio-economic aspirations of the market.
Naceur Tounekti, President of Erganeo, states: "We are very happy about this union with our partner Cap Digital and the creation of this new consortium. The goal is to combine our efforts and strengthen our capacity for action. Thus, Hyperion will allow a greater number of tech startups to multiply their chances of success at a crucial stage of their development."
Carlos Cunha, General Delegate of Cap Digital, adds: "Cap Digital has always been closely associated with the French Tech Seed initiative: the natural extension of our involvement now consists of pooling efforts with Erganeo and our partners to offer deeper expertise enabling startups to receive better support."
