Erganeo launches two calls for expression of interest on the theme of cybersecurity.
The objective of this call is to support research projects on the theme of cybersecurity, which is essential for the proper functioning of digital tools in all areas of our professional and personal lives.
It offers considerable opportunities to innovate both in uses such as the autonomous car, the Internet of Things, computer networks, data storage in the cloud or more simply teleworking and in technologies such as AI, 5G, quantum computing.
But, in the face of these positive aspects, these digital spaces offer new vulnerabilities and loopholes that can be exploited by acts of cyber malice creating threats such as:
Industrial espionage
Security of networks and critical infrastructures (airport, energy plant, telecommunications, hospitals, etc.)
Cyberterrorism
Theft of personal, banking or professional data
Phishing, scams, cyber-extortion
Disinformation
Cybersecurity appears as an essential element for the proper functioning of these new digital tools.
It offers the ability to protect data and services offered in the digital space against all attacks likely to compromise their availability, integrity or confidentiality.
Therefore, in order to develop solutions on the topic of cybersecurity, Erganeo is ready to invest in the maturation of technological projects on this topic by promoting the filing of patents or by strengthening existing patents.
