Erganeo invests as early as possible to protect the new inventions of academic researchers, upstream of their transfer to an industrial company or the creation of a start-up.

This concerns all researchers from laboratories in the ERGANEO territory (UP, Inalco, Sorbonne Paris Nord University, Sciences Po, CY University and CY Alliance, COMUE Paris Est Sup: UGE, UPEC, ENVA, ENPC, CNRS, INSERM) and for all scientific fields.

Erganeo offers 2 investment schemes leading to the development of Proof of Concept and allowing to accompany researchers in the protection of their inventions (IP Generation) in their desire to create a start-up (SU Factory)

1. The Generation PI device.

The first device concerns the Generation IP type of maturation. It allows to invest in projects in order to :

Generate a new intellectual property asset (patent or other)

Strengthen and consolidate results within the priority year of a patent

We invest up to 50,000 euros in projects for a period of 12 to 18 months, plus the IP fees paid by Erganeo.

Its objective: to consolidate and protect the results and develop a POC to lead the projects towards transfer.

This investment can be a prerequisite for a DeepTech Maturation if the project is oriented towards a start-up creation.

2. The SU Factory program

The objective of the start-up factory program is to bring innovative technologies to the economic world through the creation of start-ups.

Erganeo is positioned at the crossroads of two types of actors: those who mainly bring human skills such as incubators or gas pedals and those who bring financial resources such as investment funds or private companies.

In this sense, Erganeo brings firstly financial resources (between 300 and 500 thousand euros per project) and secondly human skills through a tailor-made support including lawyers for the legal creation of your company, analysts for the implementation of your business plan and business model, patent engineers for the protection of your patents or even fundraising.
