Erganeo is launching two calls for expressions of interest on the theme of Child Health, Newborn and Pregnant Women.
The objective of this AMI is to support innovative research projects that can provide solutions in the field of health and care for children and newborns, as well as pregnant women, on common and/or specific conditions.
Proposed axes:
Therapeutic strategy = new target / new chemical entity or biotherapy in the broadest sense (antibodies, proteins, cell or gene therapy etc...), targeting a specific disease of the child and/or newborn, or non-drug strategy aimed at motor and cognitive development, psychomotricity etc...
Child and neonatal surgery, hospital care & technologies to improve the management of severe neonatal and childhood illness in the hospital setting.
Diagnosis & early diagnosis, pre & post natal, Prognosis & Diagnostic Companion: screening, early screening, pre & post natal, therapeutic follow-up assistance, diagnostic assistance, biochips, personalized medicine etc.
Food Strategy & Health Nutrition, microbiota related to common conditions in premature babies, newborns and children.
Medical technologies, eHealth or Healthcare AI: in support of the patient or practitioner, assistance with treatment compliance, therapeutic follow-up or treatment orientation, medical devices adapted to children and newborns, etc.
Patient Quality of Life, Supportive Care or Comfort Care: studies or technologies aimed at appreciating or relieving the patient in his or her everyday life, on common ailments related to his or her pathology, whether directly or indirectly related.
Human & Social Sciences, SHS: studies aimed at understanding the patient as a whole, in the face of his or her pathology and defining areas for improvement in patient care, whether at the therapeutic level or in everyday life.
