Bpifrance, and its partners Réseau SATT, CEA, CNRS, Inria and Inserm Transfert, organised the fourth Tech Tour Transfer Invest on 12 and 13 February, in partnership with the company Tech Tour. 41 French research-based start-ups, 26 of which were supported by SATT, were accompanied to pit their growth against 55 European and international investment funds specialising in the digital, biotechnology, health and energy sectors.
Now on the agenda of the main European and international investors as one of France's key tech events, this fourth edition of the SATTs extends the selection of companies beyond the SATTs to include the main public research organisations: CEA, CNRS, Inria and Inserm. Together, these five structures represent almost the entire ecosystem of French public research valorisation, one of the vectors of which is the creation of companies. Between 2011 and 2019, these structures have thus supported the creation of 1,260 start-ups, which raised 432 funds over the period, for a total amount of more than €1.9 billion, including €736 million only in 2019 .
41 start-ups have been selected by investors, according to several criteria (value proposition, growth potential, team, market size...) among these 1,260 companies, to participate in this fourth edition of the Tech Tour Transfer Invest on February 12 and 13. Then they had the opportunity to present themselves before a jury of 55 European investors.
Tech Tour Transfer Invest will also enable the 12 start-ups selected by the investors to take part in the "Tech Tour Contest Final" which will take place on 8 and 9 December 2020 in Germany.
Candidate in the Medtech category, the start-up Orixha supported by Erganeo is among the 12 winners of the contest!
