On the occasion of the European Week for Sustainable Development (EWSSD), which will take place from September 18 to October 8, 2021, with a highlight from September 20 to 26, Erganeo will highlight its supported projects, created start-ups, technologies, success stories and other notable partnerships that are part of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, adopted by the UN in 2015.

For the 2020 edition of the SEDD, 25 countries in Europe have mobilized, despite the context of the health crisis and the move of the event to September. In France, many actors have highlighted their commitment to sustainable development.

The SEDD is a time dedicated to promoting sustainable development, raising awareness of its issues and mobilizing people to act. It is an opportunity to showcase concrete and useful actions for a sustainable future on a national and international scale.

Concerned about current societal and environmental challenges, Erganeo is committed to and invests in innovative projects that meet the various Sustainable Development Goals.

Call for Expression of Interest on rare diseases.

In October 2020, Erganeo launched a call for expression of interest on this theme in partnership with the Rare Diseases Foundation. The objective of this call was to support innovative research projects that could provide solutions in the field of rare diseases in children and adults.

Results > 4 patents filed and 2 funded.

Launched in January 2021, this call for expressions of interest aimed to support innovative research projets that could provide solutions in the field of health and care for children and newborns, as well as pregnant women, for common and/or specific diseases. Results > 3 projects funded.

Start-up Dextrain

Created and supported by Erganeo, the start-up Dextrain combines its manual dexterity technology with Machine Learning to offer a unique solution for rehabilitation and prediction of neurological diseases, for millions of individuals.

Call for Expressions of Interest Seniors & Health

Launched in June 2021, the objective of this call for expressions of interest was to support innovative research projects that could provide solutions in the field of health and care for the elderly, on common and/or specific diseases.

Start-up AbilyCare

Created in 2021 and supported by Erganeo, the start-up AbilyCare supports companies, health and social actors in the 3 levels of prevention: primary to prevent the occurrence of a disease or an accident by acting on individual risk trajectories (aging, MSD ...), secondary by intervening on screening, help in early diagnosis of pathologies and fragility, and tertiary to assess the progression of a proven pathology and its rehabilitation process.

Call for Expressions of Interest on Green Cloud Computing and digital technology for ecology.

This call aims to support innovative research projects that can provide solutions in the field with two orientations: How do digital technologies contribute to meeting the challenges of the ecological transition?

How to reduce the environmental footprint of digital technology?

Start-up Auressens

Created and supported by Erganeo, Auressens develops a technology to produce coatings with the reflective aspect of metal, while being only made of organic material. The solutions proposed by AURESSENS are designed to minimize their environmental impact from one end of the value chain to the other: from the production of pigments to their formulation and implementation.

RapDys

RapDys is a playful software to help remediate dyslexia. The exercises can be done under the supervision of a speech therapist but also at the patients' homes. After a few training sessions of 20 minutes each, children with specific language disorders have increased their performance in the following areas by up to 40%: identification, discrimination and categorization of sounds.

Start-up Carboneo

Created in 2020 with the support of Erganeo, the University of Paris and the CNRS, the start-up Carboneo offers a solution for the transformation of CO² into various valuable products such as CO (carbon monoxide), the basic building block of chemistry, and O² (oxygen).

• Aquatic life

Start-up Wastemy

Created and supported by Erganeo, Wastemy offers an innovative solution for local plastic recovery, using a technological process of low temperature pyrolysis (about 500°C) with the possible addition of biomass. This process allows to densify energetically the raw material and to obtain a gas and a liquid with high energy values.
