Erganeo is launching two calls for expressions of interest on the theme of Seniors and Health.
The objective of this call is to support innovative research projects that can provide solutions in the field of health and care of the elderly, on common and/or specific diseases.
Proposed areas of research :
PATHOLOGIES RELATED TO AGING: in particular neurodegenerative diseases, cancers, diabetes, etc. Studies aimed at POC on New Targets and/or New Therapeutics (chemical drugs or biotherapies in the broadest sense, notably antibodies, proteins, cell or gene therapy, etc.), aimed at a specific disease of the elderly, or non-drug strategy.
HOSPITAL CARE & TECHNOLOGIES aimed at improving the management of serious illnesses in elderly patients in hospitals
DIAGNOSTICS, PRONOSTICS & DIAGNOSTICS COMPANION: screening, early detection, therapeutic follow-up assistance, diagnostic assistance, biochips, personalized medicine, etc.
DIET STRATEGY & HEALTHY NUTRITION, microbiota in relation to common ailments in the case of the elderly.
MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES, e-health or AI Health: in support of the patient or the practitioner, help with treatment compliance, therapeutic monitoring or treatment orientation, medical devices adapted to the age of patients, connected objects for patient monitoring, robotics for tele-presence, monitoring or assistance, etc.
AUTONOMY of the elderly patient
WELL-BEING & QUALITY OF LIFE of the elderly patient, support care or comfort care: studies or technologies aiming at appreciating or relieving the patient in his daily life, on common affections and related to his pathology in direct or indirect link.
Human & Social Sciences: studies aiming at understanding the patient in his globality, in front of his pathology and defining the axes of improvement in his care, either at the therapeutic level, or in his everyday life.
Cellular and tissue regeneration: strategies aiming at regenerating a damaged tissue or organ or at limiting its ageing, healing, wound care, ...
Why? To support research projects on the theme of seniors and health, which can provide solutions in the field of health and care for the elderly.
