On Tuesday July 4, 2023, the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, in partnership with Bpifrance, organized the awards ceremony for the winners of the 2023 innovation competitions.
Since its inception, the competition has rewarded more than 3,707 awards and enabled the creation of 2,224 innovative companies. This 25th edition highlighted the 237 awards in all categories.
Erganeo is proud to present the 2023 winners supported by Erganeo:
Award i-PhD : Charlotte Dejean - Project Exbam
There is a great interest in manganese for industrial purposes, but the growing demand is being met by diminishing deposits. This observation has opened the way to its extraction from waste and via bio-assisted techniques, thus limiting energy and environmental costs. However, these techniques only work under acidic conditions. In this project, Ms Dejean is developing a solution based on mining waste and bacteria that broadens their scope of application.
Award i-Lab : Methys Dx (Grand Prix)
Methys Dx is a start-up with a focus on developing personalised medicine in oncology via non-invasive follow-up techniques. By pooling these specialist skill-sets and knowledge, Methys Dx is developing innovative diagnostic tools for cancer
patient follow-up.

Award i-Lab : Auressens
The technology developed by Auressens makes it possible to produce coatings with the reflective appearance of metal, while consisting solely of organic matter. The colorants used in these coatings belong to families of innovative molecules that enable a wide range of optical effects to be achieved, depending on their nature, in an economical and environmentally-friendly way. These colorants have the ability to self-organize after deposition on the surface to form a pigmentary material with the appearance of metal, particularly gold.
